The Child Within


  • As I gaze at the image above I see the outline of a small child crouching in the lower left, their head bowed, their slight body leans heavy against a wall of light. It may be this child is one and the same as the torso that fills the stage. As if within the confident folds of vibrant light that represents the life we show to the world, a less certain, vulnerable, yet protected self, resides.
